Exhibition: Nordic Coastal Impressions
"The colors of the Northern Coast are the essence of the work of Norwegian Ingrid Solesvik. The artist frees the power of paint, giving it momentum from her influence color navy. The smoothness of the blue-green background is a constant in contrast with the red and yellow, sometimes crepuscular, sometimes morning. From the abstract, Ingrid Solesvik confirms the power of color to achieve her goal . The possibility of reading her work is endless, it seems to peek in the infinite ocean of the artist. The works are composed of colors juxtaposed and overlapping, solution that transforms them into fields in constant transformation. The color emerges as a synthesis of expression, which may be perceived to take away the haze that covers the eye, the painting acquires the power of thought and expression".
